Student Privacy Policy

1. Introduction At the US SAFETY Consultants Group Inc, we are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our students' personal information. This Student Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and disclose your information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Information
We collect various types of information about our students, including but not limited to:
- Personal Information: Such as your name, contact details (email address, phone number), date of birth, and address.
- Educational Information: Including transcripts, enrollment information, course records, and attendance.
- Payment Information: Payment details for tuition and fees, where applicable.
- Demographic Information: Information such as gender, ethnicity, and nationality (if provided, for statistical purposes).
- Communication Data: Correspondence with us, including emails and messages.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for various purposes, including:
- To process your enrollment and manage your educational experience.
- To communicate with you regarding your courses, schedules, and events.

USCGI, reserves the right to update or modify this Student Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or through announcements on our website. Please review this policy periodically for updates.
8. CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
Upon successful completion, students will receive a picture ID wallet card and/or a certificate.
Students must grade 70% or more in their final exam in order to successfully complete the course. Students are required to complete 100% of the course contact hours and actively participate in all learning activities.
9. COMMUNICATION
Students must speak the language in which the course is given. We offer training in a multitude of languages including Spanish, Mandarin, Polish, Russian, Hindi, Italian, and more.
10. ATTENDANCE POLICY
- Students must attend all of the required class hours in order to successfully complete the course.
- It is the responsibly of the student to contact the training department to re-schedule any missed hours or class session.
- Students who arrive 30 minutes late may not be permitted to enter the class.
- Students must present a valid photo Identification card when attending each class. Returning students may show a previous certificate of completion issued by US Safety Consultants Group Inc. in lieu of an ID.
- We expect all students to behave in a respectful manner. Any student who is disrespectful to another student or member of the training staff will be removed from the class.
- The required class time does not include breaks.
11. CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellations made more than seven (7) days before the course start date may receive full reimbursement.
- Cancellations made within three (3) business days before the course start date shall only receive class credit which can be applied towards a future class.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours before the course start date will not be refunded.
- Classes may be subject to cancellation depending on the number of students registered, mitigating circumstances, or inclement weather. Students will be notified as soon as practicable or a minimum of 24 hours before the scheduled class start date.
12. REMOTE LEARNING
- When registering for a remote course, the student will attest that he/ she is the individual who will receive online access and will complete the training without assistance.
- Students must raise their hand, ask questions, and interact with other students in order to receive class credit.
- Students must have a working computer with camera and audio prior to registering for the class. Students may also download the Zoom App from their smart phone.
13. PAYMENT
All courses must be paid in full in order to be enrolled in a course and receive a certificate or wallet card.
14. MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Students acknowledge that photos of the class may be taken and are further agreeing that the company may use said photos for social media purposes.
15. INDEMNITY
Students agree to the following: To the maximum extent permitted by law, USCGI, shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury or death arising from the use or improper use of this training or the content thereof. In no event shall USCGI, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, injury, illness or death, loss of profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort, including negligence or otherwise, arising in any way out of the use of the materials and information herein. This disclaimer of liability applies to any damages or injury, including but not limited to those caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorized use of, alteration of, or use of materials, whether for breach of contract, tortuous behavior, negligence, or any other cause of action. And you are acknowledging that photos of the class may be taken for social media purposes.
16. Anti-Discrimination Policy
It is the policy of US SAFETY CONSULTANTS GROUP INC. to uphold a safe working and learning environment free of all forms of discrimination. US SAFETY CONSULTANTS GROUP INC. services do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, political beliefs, political choices, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.
These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of training and technical services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and students.

17. Intellectual Property Rights Policy
It is the policy of US SAFETY CONSULTANTS GROUP INC. that the proprietary interest of instructors is disclosed. Any materials, publications, processes, or related works for the design and delivery of continuing education and training developed by a presenter or outside agency without the assistance of US SAFETY CONSULTANTS GROUP INC, shall be owned by such presenter or outside agency.
The presenter shall provide US Safety Consultants Group Inc. with a non-exclusive license to materials under reasonable terms as to use and distribution. The presenter shall grant USCGI permission to copy, reproduce, publish, and distribute the materials in all print and other formats (including but not limited to online publication via the USCGI website, and distribution at future USCGI programs and conferences), reprint materials for distribution, and make materials available for purchase and distribution after a continuing education and training event.
The presenter must represent and warrant that the materials do not violate or infringe on any personal or property rights of others, whether common law or statutory, and that the materials contain nothing libelous or otherwise contrary to law. USCGI agrees to provide presenters with appropriate authorship credit as applicable and acknowledgment each time it publishes or republishes the work, and to require authorized sublicensees, if any, to also provide appropriate authorship credit and acknowledgments to the instructor's proprietary interest.
USCGI understands and agrees that any grant of rights does not constitute a transfer of copyright, and that the presenter remains free to present the materials or revised versions elsewhere.
18. USCGI Instructor's Proprietary Interest Policy
It is the policy of USCGI that the proprietary interest of instructors is disclosed. USCGI instructor(s) and its facility has absolutely no financial interest or related personal interest of bias in any business whose products and/or services are described, reviewed, evaluated, or compared in the training courses provided.
19. LEARNER COMMUNICATION PROCESS for CEU's NOTIFICATION
1. The Learners shall be informed by the designated administrator or training coordinator responsible for managing CEUs and learner records.
- The information provided shall be:
- Learners will receive information about whether they have successfully met the criteria for earning the corresponding IACET CEUs. By written letter.
- The Learner shall receive this information within an hour after the completion of the learning event and after the knowledge assessment is rated or at the latest three to five days after the learning event. This decision is made to be a post-learning event based on the number of Learners and available staff.
- How the information will be disseminated:
- In Person
- By Email: Learners will receive an email detailing their CEU attainment status.
- Online Portal: Learners can log into an online platform where their CEU status will be updated and visible.
- Physical Mail: In cases where electronic communication is not feasible, learners may receive a letter confirming their CEU status.
- The tools used for notification will include:
- Email system (e.g., Outlook, Gmail)
- Learning management system (LMS) or CEU tracking system
- Postal mail system
By following this structured approach, US SAFETY CONSULTANTS GROUP INC. ensures clear communication and transparency regarding the learners' CEU achievements following the learning event. All records shall be maintained for 7 years from the Learning event.
20. Learners Support Services
Enrollments - Registrations - Languages - Payments - Facilities - Materials
It's our policy to provide our students with all the necessary support systems for positive learning experience by providing professional staff members that can address the students' needs.
- Various staff members are responsible for the support services; it's based on the origination of the learner. If the learner is originated by a trainer, then the trainer is first to provide all the support services required at the time of contact.
- If the origination is through a referral, the web site, or advertisement then the Training Coordinators provide the service at time of contact.
- Finally, on the morning of the event the Training Coordinator and Trainer once again review the support services.
The staff members provide the support services through many mechanisms which include:
- Direct contact, person to person at the school facility or the client's office
- Telephone conversations, by staff members with notes taking for future reference
- Web Page
- Mail Correspondence
- E-mails
- Texts
The support process goal is to provide the necessary information so a learner can feel comfortable knowing he has all the required information to make an intelligent decision to move forward in his learning event.

Students must address their concerns about this school or any of its educational programs by emailing a formal letter to the above email address or in writing to the facility address. Schools are responsible for ensuring that all students have received a copy of the school's grievance procedures and for describing these procedures in the school's published catalog. If, as a student, you are not provided with this information, please inform school management.
Students dissatisfied with this school's response to their complaint or who are not able to file a complaint with the school, can file a formal complaint with US SAFETY CONSULTANTS GROUP INC. as well as with other relevant agencies or accreditors, if applicable.
21. COMPLETION/ REPLACEMENT CERTIFICATE AND CARD
A certificate of completion will be issued at the end of the course, which is valid for 90 days. Upon completion of the course students will receive a certificate from DNI and will receive an OSHA Construction Industry wallet card from the OSHA Training Institute (OTI). The OSHA Outreach Program Training Guidelines require that the OSHA course completion cards are issued directly to each student, regardless of who paid for the training.
These cards must be picked up at our office and sign a release and confirmation of card pick up. The issued card must be always carried while on a construction job site and present this card as proof of a completed course when requested. We suggest you maintain a copy of your records.
If this card is lost or stolen, you will need to purchase a replacement card at an additional $100. Please contact us via email at: Info@ussafetyconsultantsgroupinc.com for a request.
22. Records Release and Privacy Policy
It is the policy of USCGI to maintain records that are kept up-to-date, private and secure in accordance with OSHA and IACET for a minimum of seven (7) years. If a student wants a release of their records, they must complete an Authorization for Release of Student Information Form and submit it via email to:

$100 processing and handling fee for any new updates or replacement OSHA and NYC DOB Training cards and SST Cards.

23. Disclaimer
All courses are subject to cancellation due to lack of student registration, trainer availability, weather conditions or any unforeseen event that may prevent a class from occurring. USCGI holds the right to cancel any class without providing advanced notice to students but will respectfully take into consideration scheduling and will do its best to notify students in case of cancellation.
24. Learning Environment Policy
We provide our students with a process plan which provides and supports the achievement of learning outcomes. This role is spearheaded by our facility Training Coordinator Noshiba Fayyaz.
Process
Each evening an audit is conducted by the TC. He reviews the type learning events, the facility accommodations, the instructors, educational materials, seating, lighting, supplies, overhead projections, handouts, PowerPoints, software, hardware, hands-on equipment requirements, knowledge assessments, registration forms, kitchen amenities, beverages, paper towels, toilet paper, cups, napkins.
He arranges the seating according to the learning event, establishes a registration and processing area for the students.
25. Student Acknowledgment of USSCGI Handbook Policies & Course Handouts
Instructions, please read the handbook provided, and all course handout materials, then sign the acknowledgment below which appears on the last page of handbook and submit it to the Training Coordinator or Training Director by Mail, Fax or Email or in person at the time of class.
